No INTERNORGA without top conferences! The International Foodservice Forum on March 9th and the “Branchentag der Gemeinschaftsgastronomie” on March 13th invite everyone who wants to fill up on fresh brain food with exciting programs. Tickets are now available.

INTERNORGA has always been a platform for networking, for inspiration and for discovering new trends. This is exactly what the two major industry confrences, which have been bringing together the Who's Who in Hamburg for decades, cover.

 

Internationales Foodservice Forum

The International Foodservice Forum has been Europe's largest congress for the professional catering industry for more than forty years. On the day before INTERNORGA opens, decision-makers from all segments of the out-of-home market meet here - from fine dining, quick service, system retailers, petrol station shops, bakery-branch operations, transport catering to start-ups. A full day of exciting lectures and discussions awaits visitors in Hamburg. The top-class industry get-together will be flanked by plenty of time for networking, to maintain old contacts and make new ones. On 9 March 2023, the who's who of the industry will meet at the Congress Center in Hamburg.

Here is a sneak preview of the varied program of the 41st International Foodservice Forum:

As usual, the kick-off is reserved for the top 100 gastronomy players in Germany, who will be presented this time by Katrin Wißmann, editor of the trade magazine foodservice. Top-class industry experts will follow. Among them will be Stephan von Bülow from Eugen Block Holding, who will discuss the topic of "Meat with a Future" with meat sommelier Christoph Grabowski. Peter Prislin from Hans im Glück Franchise will talk about "Pricing in stormy times". Julius Wiesenhütter from voillà and Heinz Gindullis from the Berlin star restaurant Cookies Cream will talk about how cooking boxes can create new reach for the gastronomy sector and how professional e-commerce can support this. Philip Westermeyer from OMR will give a digital update and lots of tips. The expert talk will focus on "Solutions and Learnings". Haya and Ilan Molcho (Neni), Mirko Silz (L'Osteria) and Karl Brauckmann (Valora) will discuss on stage. As a digestif, the entertainer and laughter expert Dr. Oliver Tissot will present “highly intellectual with depth and profound in top form”. This first-class industry daywill be moderated by Prof. Dr. Torsten Olderog from AKAD University in Stuttgart.

Branchentag der Gemeinschaftsgastronomie

On Monday, 13 March 2023, the Community Catering Industry Day will take place for the second time after the great success in May 2022. This time, all lectures and practical cases will be held under the motto "GREEN in the future - ideas | concepts | solutions". First, Claudia Zilz (dfv Mediengruppe) will present the results of the new Nestlé study, which deals with sustainability issues and the requirements in the post-Corona era. This will be followed by practical examples of success in the areas of company catering, care and education. Bernhard Kampmann will be there to talk about "The Future of Company Catering" and Nouvelle Cantine. Simon Batt-Nauerz (Head of Infrastructure & Sustainability Management, Managing Director of Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH) will report on the "Project Future" at Europe's largest hospital, the Charité in Berlin. Ulrich Opatz, Head of University Catering, Studierendenwerk Mannheim, explains "The Green Age" and provides insights into the greenes² concept and contemporary campus catering. A panel discussion will focus on the topic of the "energy crisis". Ralf Blauert (BlauArt Catering), expert planner Thorsten Kretzschmar and energy consultant Torsten Merker will discuss the topic under the direction of Frauke Brodkorb-Kettenbach (dfv Mediengruppe). The future topic of "New Meat" and alternative protein sources will be highlighted by journalist Nadine Filko. The big industry day will close with keynote speaker Hendrik Haase, publicist, networker and trend researcher from Berlin. His topic: How digital technology is changing our food world.
